Snickers Pie is a family and church favorite around here!
There’s just something special about making a pie when you know it’s someone’s very favorite. You don’t even have to tell them you made it for them—they just know. And I love that.
I think baking sweets might actually be one of my love languages. ❤️
And this No Bake Snickers Pie is exactly my kind of dessert. Cream cheese, peanut butter, Cool Whip, and plenty of chopped Snickers all piled into a graham cracker crust. It’s ridiculously easy, requires absolutely no baking, and somehow disappears every single time I make it.
And yes, this recipe calls for six full-size Snickers bars.
Could you use fewer?
Sure.
But why??? 😂
Why You’ll Love This Snickers Pie
This is one of those recipes worth keeping because it’s:
- No bake – perfect when you don’t want to turn on the oven.
- Quick to make – the hardest part is chopping the Snickers.
- Great for making ahead – it needs several hours in the refrigerator anyway.
- Perfect for church meals and get-togethers – which is exactly where this one has earned its reputation around here.
- Loaded with Snickers – no hunting around for one tiny candy-bar piece in your slice!
No Bake Snickers Pie
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Chill Time: 3–4 hours
Servings: 8
Ingredients
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- ½ cup heaping crunchy peanut butter
- 1 (8-ounce) container Cool Whip
- 6 full-size Snickers bars, chopped
You could use less, but why??? - 1 prepared graham cracker pie crust
Instructions
- Using a hand mixer, beat together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and peanut butter until smooth and well combined.
- Gently fold in the Cool Whip until completely incorporated.
- Add the chopped Snickers, reserving 1–2 tablespoons for garnish if desired, and fold them into the filling.
- Spoon the filling into the prepared graham cracker crust and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle the reserved chopped Snickers over the top.
- Refrigerate for 3–4 hours before slicing and serving.
PRO TIPS
Soften that cream cheese. Let it come completely to room temperature before mixing. Cold cream cheese can leave little lumps in your filling.
Don’t skip the chill time. This pie needs those few hours in the refrigerator to firm up enough to slice nicely.
Chop the Snickers fairly small. You still want good chunks, but smaller pieces make the pie much easier to cut and eat.
Make it the day before. This is a great dessert to make the night before a church meal, party, or family gathering.
Can I Use Creamy Peanut Butter?
Absolutely. I use crunchy because I love the extra little bits of peanut throughout the pie, but creamy peanut butter will work just fine.
Can I Use Fewer Snickers?
Technically.
I’m just not sure why we’d do that to ourselves. 😂
You can definitely reduce the amount if you prefer less candy in the filling. You could also save an extra Snickers bar to chop and scatter across the top right before serving.
How to Store Snickers Pie
Keep the pie covered in the refrigerator until you’re ready to serve it. Store any leftovers covered in the refrigerator as well.
And if you’re taking it to a church dinner or summer get-together, keep it cold until close to serving time since the filling contains cream cheese and whipped topping.
Special not Fancy
Some recipes are special because they’re fancy.
Others are special because somebody you love lights up when they see them sitting on the counter.
This is that kind of recipe.
And I’m pretty sure that’s why I’ll keep making Snickers Pie for as long as somebody I love keeps claiming it as their favorite.
