A Late Arrival… But Worth It
I was very late to the Million Dollar Spaghetti party—but I’m sure glad I finally made it.
This dish?
It’s easy.
Like, end-of-a-long-day, still-make-dinner easy.
And the taste? Even better.
Quick Note Before You Start
If you haven’t made this yet…
👉 This is your dinner plan for tonight.
Add a quick salad and thank me later.
👩🍳 Kitchen Tools I Used (and actually love)
- I used my Mix & Chop to brown the meat—it makes breaking it up so quick and even
- A Flat Whisk is perfect for smoothing out the cream sauce without clumps

🛒 Ingredients
- 1 lb spaghetti noodles
- 1 lb ground meat (beef or Italian sausage)
- 45 oz spaghetti sauce
- Italian seasoning to taste
- Salt to taste
- 1 stick butter
- ½ tsp (or more) garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ¾ tsp Cajun seasoning
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 6 oz shredded parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
👩🍳 Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 pan
- In a skillet, brown ground meat over medium heat
- 👉 Use your Mix & Chop here to break it up evenly
- If using beef, season with salt and Italian seasoning
- Add spaghetti sauce and additional seasoning (IMO 😉)
- Let simmer while preparing the cream sauce
- Cook spaghetti noodles according to package directions
- Don’t forget to salt the water
- Drain and set aside
🥣 Cream Sauce
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat with garlic powder, onion powder, and Cajun seasoning
- Add heavy cream and bring to a gentle bubble
- Add parmesan cheese and stir until smooth
- 👉 A Flat Whisk works perfectly here to keep it creamy and lump-free
- *Optional: You could buy a jar of alfredo sauce and skip this step BUT I strongly advise against it! You just feel fancy making your very own alfredo sauce!
🍝 Bring It All Together
- Add drained noodles to the cream sauce and stir until coated
- Pour into prepared 9×13 dish
- Pour meat sauce over the top
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over everything
- Cover and bake at 350°F for 25 minutes
- Uncover for last 5 minutes if you want that golden, bubbly top
💛 Final Thoughts
This is one of those recipes that just works.
It’s simple enough for a busy night…
but good enough that everyone will ask for it again.
And around here, that’s about as close to “Million Dollar” as it needs to be.
